Rey Mysterio Comments On WWE Suspension – Details Inside

WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio conducted an interview with the Record newspaper in Mexico commenting on the announcement of his 30 day suspension from WWE for violating the company’s Wellness Policy. Mysterio said he was suspended for a drug he was using for his knee and arm that he has a prescription for.

Mysterio added that due to him going on vacation and then being sent to the UK by the company to promote SummerSlam, he wasn’t given word of his test failure until Wednesday and was told he had to provide the prescription record by Thursday. Mysterio said since he couldn’t get them the prescription in time they then announced his suspension on Thursday.
