As reported on Monday night, TNA Wrestling star Christopher Daniels was arrested on DUI charges this past Friday in Smithfield, North Carolina after being pulled over for a traffic violation and failing (0.14 BAC) a breathalyzer test.
It’s now become apparent that Christopher Daniels was drinking with WWE wrestler Shane “Hurricane” Helms before he got behind the wheel according to TNAWrestlingNews.com.
Daniels was arrested a short distance from Helms’s home. Daniels and Helms posted messages on Twitter on Friday evening talking about a drinking contest the two were having. Since then, most of the messages referencing the drinking that led to Daniels’ DUI have been taken down.
