David Crocket was on WBTV 3 Charlotte news at noon today representing volunteers for the American Red Cross. Crocket stated that that it is important that the NC Red Cross help out the people in Atlanta, GA due to the massive amounts of flooding that has occurred there. Crocket also reminded people that Atlanta was a huge help to Charlotte after Hurricane Hugo damaged Charlotte 20-years ago.
Mike Adamle is set to compete in the Ironman World Championship in a few weeks. The event will raise money for the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund. He appeared on the Mully & Handley Radio Show on WSCR 670 AM this morning to promote the event and rode a stationary bike for three hours, completing over 60 miles.
