— In a blog post on the WWE Universe website, Michelle McCool said she isn’t completely healed from her knee injury, but feels she is still able to wrestle in the ring. The reigning WWE Women’s Champion competed at this past weekend’s slate of SmackDown live events after a month-long hiatus, working in tag matches. McCool said she actually tore her posterior cruciate ligament, which affects knee stability. “I actually tore the corner of my PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) and the band that runs across my meniscus that holds the knee capsule together and bruised the bone pretty badly,” McCool wrote. “It’s still pretty sore, but I have been able to test it back out in the ring as of late! I’ll be 100% before you know it….and cannot wait!!!” Elsewhere, she discusses her recent foray into Twitter.
— As reported earlier, enhancement worker Rory Fargo suffered a wardrobe malfunction during his match with Zack Ryder during this past week’s edition of ECW. It would appear that reports of Ryder inadvertently pulling Fargo’s trunks down are incorrect. Based on some images that have surfaced online, what actually happened is that the bottom portion of Fargo’s trunks completely ripped in half towards the conclusion of the match, thus exposing his buttocks as well as his genitals. The two quickly went to the finish, but an exposed Fargo continued to lay flat on the mat to sell being pinned.
