The Daily Collegian, Penn State’s newspaper, has an article up on last weekend’s WWE Supershow. You can read the full article at http://www.collegian.psu.edu/
WWE’s previously scheduled SmackDown & ECW live event on December 5, 2009 at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City, Louisiana has been changed to a tri-branded show. In perhaps an indication of things to come, the advertised main event is Randy Orton vs. Triple H. I’ve heard for the time being they are going with a DX vs. Big Show/Chris Jericho feud so we’ll see.
For those who missed it earlier, you can view a really cool looking WWE Survivor Series poster at this link.
UFC president Dana White got the word today from Brock Lesnar that he had been suffering from a severe flu for three-and-a-half weeks and hadn’t been able to shake it. He’s been unable to train because of the sickness. He decided he didn’t have enough time left to get in top shape for the fight. We can confirm that Lesnar has been sick so that part of the story is real. He was said to be down in recent days because he hadn’t been able to shake it and it was coming up on a deadline of not having time to get in shape. UFC told Shane Carwin earlier today that the plan right now is for the fight to take place on Jan. 2 in Las Vegas. More as we get it.
