— James Lacerenza sent this in: Just watching the Jets at Bucs game on CBS and heard Gangrel’s WWE theme used on a highlight package. Thought I would pass this oddity along.

— The Southeast Outlook has an article on Tough Enough 3 winner Matt Cappotelli, who postponed his wrestling career due to a malignant brain tumor — which has since been fully removed. The article says Cappotelli’s dream is to return to the ring one day, “but he has no idea when that will happen.” For those unaware, Cappotelli was released from his WWE contract this past January in a cost-cutting measure.

— Shawn Michaels could be seen sitting in the front row at this past Friday’s Charlotte Bobcats vs. San Antonio Spurs game in San Antonio, Texas. Click here to see an image of Michaels watching the game alongside his wife Rebecca.
