The TNA Before The Bell series that will air on DirecTVchannel 101 will be a series of PPV preview shows. They will feature personality profiles on the TNA talent, similar to what they did for the “Before the Glory” special last October.
TNA will run January 8th in Westbury, Long Island, January 9th in Poughkeepsie, NY and January 10th in Danbury, CT. Scheduled to appear are NA champion AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Beer Money, Inc., Desmond Wolfe, The Beautiful People, TNA X-Division Champion Amazing Red, D’Angelo Dinero, Daniels, TNA Global Champion Eric Young, TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions Taylor Wilde & Sarita, Rhino and Homicide.
As noted yesterday, Cody Deaner and Kip James have been removed from the TNA roster page. When TNA’s Steven Godfrey was contacted, his response was , “No comment either way.”
This week’s WWE SmackDown! will feature a “Beat the Clock” challenge to determine the #1 contender to the Undertaker’s World Heavyweight championship at the Royal Rumble. Here are the 8 superstars who will be competing in the challenge:
* Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk
* Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler
* Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio
* Batista vs. R-Truth
As per WWE’s rules, whichever Superstar wins their match in the fastest time will challenge the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight title at the Royal Rumble PPV on January 23rd. Full spoilers for the show are already up on the main newsboard.
