2 Huge Names Set For RAW, Major WWE Storyline Plans, WWE.com Traffic

RAW and SmackDown this week are being written to heavily push the Royal Rumble. The plan right now is to add a match to the PPV which will be announced tonight or tomorrow, and to have 15 names for the Rumble announced by the end of the week. Keep in mind that plans often change before the show airs.

The Undertaker is confirmed for this Monday’s RAW to further the WrestleMania storyline with Shawn Michaels. Bret Hart will also be appearing on this week’s show.

The most shipped WWE DVD’s of 2009 are WrestleMania with 242,000 units, Rise and Fall of WCW with 163,000, Greatest Stars of the 90’s with 117,000 and the Best of SNME at 132,000 units shipped worldwide.

WWE’s website averaged 12.1 million unique visitors in November 2009, the lowest in a long time. Despite the drop in traffic, they still averaged 1,000 orders per day for the month of November on their shop website. This is probably the highest number since the Holiday season in 2008.

Lance Storm has posted an update to his website (StormWrestling.com) talking about the four people who were most responsible for his wrestling success.
