Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2026 Tournament Semifinal Round Match
Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno vs. The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor)

Apparently over the weekend, Vanity Project attacked Moreno and Dar resulting in 10 stitches in Dar’s head. It’s a good thing it happened at a house show because surely no one wanted to see that. Anyway, Vanity Project got this Semi (heh) by taking out Mini Vikingo and Chazz Hall and Dar and Moreno beat Los Americanos and Fraxiom.

Off the top, Baylor and Smokes jumped Dar, maximizing his inury. Moreno tagged in to get some revenge and threw hands with Baylor. Dar wasn’t letting the injury slow him down and tagged back in. He and Moreno hit Baylor with a double suplex. Smokes pulled Dar out of the ring and ran him into the steel steps.

Moreno soared over the top ropes to takeout Baylor and Smokes as Dar tried to climb back up on the apron. Baylor attacked him from behind and Moreno left the ring to beat him up and throw him back in. Myka Lockwood tried to help Smokes as Baylor clotheslined Moreno from behind in the ring.

Smokes and Baylor started with the quick tags to wear down Moreno who was carrying the match 2-on-1 while Dar recovered. Dar got up on the apron, reaching for a tag, while Moreno was double teamed by Smokes and Baylor. Baylor held Moreno in a

Picture-in-picture, Grayson Waller posted an X from outside of Tony D’Angelo’s house wondering if anyone was home.

Back in the match, Moreno got a tag to Dar, who took down Baylor with a superkick and then rolled up Smokes for two. Dar’s talented feet seemed uninjured as he peppered Smokes with kicks. Moreno tagged back in and they double teamed him. Moreno went for a cover on Smokes, but he kicked out at two.

Smokes went for the staples in Dar’s forehead, causing him to scream in pain, but Dar managed to shake it of and put an arm bar on Baylor. Smokes snuck in and hit Dar with a spear behind the ref’s back, but even that wasn’t enough to put Dar down for the count.

Dar caught Baylor with an ankle lock and when Smokes tried to break it up, Moreno put him in one two. VP got out of it, but chaos ensued and Baylor accidentally hit Smokes ad Dar accidentally hit Moreno. VP managed to get a double team on Dar, but Morneo broke up the ensuing cover.

Baylor sent Moreno to the outside where Moreno Suplexed him. Smokes worked over Dar in the ring, but ended up caught in a leg bar. Smokes rolled them both out of the ring to break it. Dar threw him back in the ring and Lockwood went for a sneak attack, but Dar dodged it and flipped her off.

Moreno tagged in and set up Baylor on the ringpost. He put him on his shoulders and Dar did the same to Smokes. They hit stereo slams, but Baylor kicked out of the cover. Moreno went for a tag, but Smokes pulled Dar off the apron. Smokes and Baylor went for a double team on Moreno, but he got out of it and tagged Dar. Dar hit a back elbow on Smokes and made the cover to win the match and send his team to the finals.

Winner: Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno via Pinfall.

Backstage: Robert Stone, Tony D’Angelo

In the Robert Stone’s Office Playset, Tony D’Angelo was yelling at Robert Stone about Waller being at his house. Stone said that he would sent someone, but D’Angelo went himself, which is probably what he should have done before stopping by Stone’s office. Stone, ever the pragmatic leader, told the camera man to “follow him!”

Video: Cruz Montana

Back from break, Cruz Montana told us that the worst part of last week’s match with Dion Lennox was what he felt. For a split second, he wasn’t himself, he was “the other guy.” (The Hulk?) Montana said that the worst thing Lennox could have done was bring his family into this and Montana’s past is about to become Lennox’s future.

Lizzy Rain vs. Chantel Monroe

So, last week, Monroe was being “annoying” to a bunch of people backstage. So, Rain said they should have a match about it, and now we’re here. This is Monroe’s singles debut on NXT, so there’s that.

Monroe looked good off the top, catching Rain with a snapmare. Rain came back with a slam and they locked up again. This time, Rain grabbed a headlock, but Monroe broke out of it.

Rain got the upper hand with a step up kick but it was short lived as Monroe hit a bulldog. Rain came back with a backslide and then a springboard elbow. She followed that with a fisherwoman’s suplex, but Monroe found a way to get a neckbreaker in. Rain kicked out of the ensuing cover.

Back from a break, Monroe had Rain in a headlock, but Rain battled back and caught a neckbreaker for her trouble. A rinning knee got Monroe a two count and she bashed Rain’s head against the turnbuckle. Monroe hit Rain with a throat punch and Rain dropped her on te apron in retaliation.

Rain started throwing clotheslines and then threw Monroe with a suplex. She put Monroe in the corner for some chops and then suplexed her, German style. Rain hit a spine buster and put Monroe on her shoulders. Monroe elbowed her way out of it and rolled through, pinning Rain and using the ropes for leverage. This got her the win.

Winner: Chantel Monroe via Pinfall.

Video: Izzi Dame

This week’s NXT Focus was on Izzi Dame, who after being told she was going about getting a North America Title Match the wrong way, was then offered a match, then turned it down, talked about how Zaria used to be in plays in high school (me too, can I have a title shot?) and is secretly insecure. So there.

Saquon Shugars vs. Sean Legacy

his match came about last week when Shugars was watching TV on his iPad too loudly and Legacy wasn’t able to talk to EK Prosper. Or at least thats the best of my recollection.

Shugars grabbed a headlock off the top, but Legacy broke out of it. They started trash talking and Shugars grabbed a wristlock that he used to sent Legacy to the mat.

Legacy came back with a headscissor and used the ropes to help with an arm drag. He hit a back body drop and then a standing moonsault for a two count. Shugars rolled under the ropes to collect himself.

Legacy kept up momentum with some arm drags and superkicks befor working Shugars’ elbow and shoulder. Shugars countered with a sidewalk slam and then whiffed on a dropkick. He bounced Legacy’s head off the turnbuckles. Legacy went for a springboard but Shugars knocked him off the ropes.

Legacy tried to steal one with a backslide, but Shugars got out of it quick. He hit an elbow to Legacy’s head and then dropped a leg for a two count. Legacy started a punching comeback, but Shugars got him into a headlock/crossface thing. Legacy got out of hit, but Shugars put a knee in his gut.

Shugars hit a backbreaker into a flatliner, but Legacy kicked out of the cover. Shugars hit a kick off the ropes, but Legacy caught him right in the chin with a superkick. He hit a suplex off the ropes on Shugars and then a high knee in the corner. Legacy sliced some bread and went for the cover, but Shugars kicked out.

Legacy hit and elbow and then went for another slice, but missed and settled for a sit out slam for two. Legacy pulled Shugars into position for a spingbaord 450, but Shugars got the knee up and hit an F-12, but Legacy got his foot on the ropes. Legacy caight Shugars with a standing Spanish Fly and managed to get the three to win the match.

Winner: Sean Legacy via Pinfall.

Video: Grayson Waller

Next, Grayson Waller’s instagram post from outside of Tony D’Angelo’s house was replayed.

Outdoors: Tony D’Angelo

This fed into footage of D’Angelo arriving home, looking for Waller. D’Angelo’s phone rang and it was Waller. D’Angelo wanted to know where Waller was and Waller said that he had gone to get something to eat. D’Angelo told Waller to “stay right there” because he was coming to “beat his ass.” D’Angelo then got back in his truck, because when you tell someone to wait until you get there to beat them up, they always stay, right?

Video: Kam Hendrix

Back from break, a Kam Hendrix video played. He questioned why EK Prosper was getting a title shot tonight when he is the real best athlete in NXT. To prove this, he sunk a bunch of free throws.

In-Ring: Tavion Heights, Myles Borne

In the ring, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights were in the ring, with security forming a line between them. The Halloween Havoc Wheel was revealed to decide their match at Halloween Havoc. Borne and Height talked at each other through the line of security guards. They said the exact same things they have been saying for weeks. Heights thinks Borne is selfish and stabbed him in the back. He then called him a bitch. Borne, for his part reminded Heights that he’s a failure on his own and was only riding his coattails. Heights took a shot at Borne’s hearing impariment, and that conjured the voice of Danhausen.

He asked his druids to “spin the wheelhausen” and when it stopped it landed on a “Weapons Wild Match,”

Backstage: DarkState, Robert Stone

Back stage in the NXT Warehouse Playset, DarkState was discussing how they took out Cruz Montana last week. Robert Stone literally walked out from behind a road case and asked “what was that about?” Lennox asked Stone to make a match between he and Montana for next week and for some reason, Stone was like “what? settle things in a wrestling match? I can’t do that! Unless it’s unsanctioned.” Lennox agreed, so they will do that next week. Unsanctioned.

Outdoors: Tony D’Angelo

Back from break, Tony D’Angelo was at his restaurant, looking for Waller in the kitchen (where everyone eats, obviously). D’Angelo asked the Host if he knew where Waller was and shockingly, he had just left. But he left a note saying “meet me where it all started.” So D’Angelo left to to where it all started. Wherever that its.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2026 Tournament Semifinal Round Match
Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. The Wagner Brothers (Galeno & El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.)

Dr Wagner Jr was in the house to see his sons, who beat Birthright to get to the semifinals. They face Hank & Tank who worked through Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov as well as the Creed Brothers to get here.

Hank and Galeno started things off, but Tank came in and Galeno fought them both. Wanger tagged in and went for a cover on Tank, but he kicked out at one. Wagner chopped Tank into the corner then splashed him as Hank tagged in for a clothesline.

Picture in Picture showed Robert Stone warning Vanity Project that the North American Title match tonight will have no outside interference.

Back in the match, Hank and Tank were on the outside and Galeno threw Wagner over the top rope onto them. He went for a cover on Tank, but no joy.

Back from break, Hank had Wagner in a headlock. Wagner elbowed his wayout of it and they traded shots. Wagner got a tag to Galeno and Hank got one to Tank. Galeno sent him to the corner with clubbing clotheslines. He then slammed Tank and slammed Hank onto Tank before hitting a splash on both.

Galeno went for a suplext on Tank, but he got out of it. Wanger tagged in just in time to take a double team. Galeno went to the outside and slammed Hank and Tank while Wagner flew through the ropes and took out Hank. Galeno hit Tank with a splash from the apron.

Back in the ring Wagner suplexed Hank and then hit a spingboard Moonsault on him. Galeno went up top and nailed Hank with a frog splash. He made the cover, but Tank broke it up before the three count.

Galeno hit a headbutted Hank, but Tank was Legal. Wagner came in a spammed some super kicks. Hank slammed him and then he and Tank took out Galeno. Hank and Tank hit splashes on Galeno and tank made the pin to send them to the finals against Dar and Moreno.

Winner: Hank & Tank via Pinfall.

Video: Adam Pearce, Kelani Jordan, IYO SKY

Next, some footage of Kelani Jordan on RAW was shown. If you missed it, Jordan said the same things she always says.

Backstage: Kendal Grey, Wren Sinclair

Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey were shown watching the segment in the NXT Locker Room Playset. Sinclair said that Jordan is on borrowed time.

Next Week’s Show Card Rundown

Back from break we learned that John Cena will be on NXT next Wednesday after appearing on RAW on Monday.

On Stage: Zilla Fatu, Arianna Grace, BirthRight

Zilla Fatu then made his way to the ring. Sarah Schriber interviewed him and reminded us that last week, Fatu asked Robert Stone to let the Halloween Havoc Wheel determine Chalie Dempsey’s fate. Fatu said that all he wants to do is punch. But then he was interrupted by Ariana Grace who asked him if he thinks that he’d be anwhere without his last name.

Then one of the Druids attacked him from behind with a shovel and they revealed themselves to be Brithright in disguise. Dampesy hit Fatu’s hand with the shovel.

Video: Shiloh Hill

We moved to an Instagram post from Shiloh Hill.

Hill is “researching” the different kinds of poison mist, including the “Black Mist” that Naraku threatened him with last week. Apparently, the Black Mist makes you go blind. Hill showed that he’s been working on delivering the mist himself and is now a master of it. Hill told Naraku to bring what ever mists he wants to Halloween Havoc.

NXT North American Championship
EK Prosper vs. Jackson Drake (c)

Prosper got this match after a planned six-man match with him, Mini Vikingo and Chaz Hall taking on Vanity Project was cancelled due to injury. Robert Stone delcared “NO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE” for this match and I’m sure Vanity Project will stick to that.

Prosper sent Drake into the ropes and then tried a backslide, but Drake countered it and hit a headscissor. Prosper landed on his feet and then hit one of his own. He hit a moonsault on Drake and went for a cover, but only got a one count.

Prosper grabbed a headlock, but Drake transitioned it into a headscissor lock. Prosper counted that back into a headlock. He threw Drake against the ropes and Drake came off them with a high knee. Prosper countered with a dropkick and a clothesline off the top turnbuckle.

Vanity Project pulled Drake from the ring to save him and Prosper flipped over the ropes to take out the field.

Back from break, Drake stomped Prosper before delivering a slap. That got Prosper moving and they traded blows. Drake took a shot at Prosper’s throat, but Prosper wasn’t ready to quit and hit him with a superkick, then a springboard slam and a tornado DDT for two.

Prosper got to his feet and went for a shining wizard but missed a Drake hit him with a high dropkick for two. Drake went for a kick, but Prosper caught his foot and hit some open handed chops. Prosper hit a huge roundhouse kick, but only got a two count of off it.

Drake went for a discus elbow but missed it. They traded shots and Drake hit a Spanish Fly and then a cutter, but Prosper kicked out. They fought up onto the turnbuckle and Drake headbutted Prosper off. Prosper responded with a huricanrana. Vanity Project trid to cause a disstraction, but Prosper still managed to get a Poisonrana on.

Prosper went up top and Lockwood caused a distraction. Kam Hendrix then shoved Prosper off the turnbuckle behind the ref’s back and Drake made the pin to retain the title.

Winner: Jackson Drake via Pinfall to retain the NXT North American Championship.

NXT Parking Lot: Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller was then shown walking into the Performance Center, which I guess is the answer to the question “where it all started.” We then went to break.

NXT Parking Lot: Zaria

Back from said break, Zaria was then shown leaving the building, very upset at Izzi Dame.

NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 Card Rundown

Next up: Halloween Havoc

-For the NXT Women’s Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wren Sinclair
-Grayson Waller defends his NXT title against Tony D’Angelo
-Zaria vs. Izzi Dame face off in a non-title for no reason Singles match
-We’ll get a stipulation from the Wheel for Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey
-Myles Borne vs. Tavion Heights in a Weapons Wild match

In-Ring: Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller then made it to the ring to talk about how he wanted to drive Tony D’Angelo crazy and he seems to have succeeded by posting instagram videos. Waller said that there’s nothing anyone can do about him being Champion and no one in WWE can touch him on this run.

NXT Parking Lot: Grayson Waller, Tony D’Angelo

Then Tony D’Angelo was show driving into the most dangerous place in wrestling, the NXT Parking Lot. Waller took off his shirt and ran outside and they started brawling. After a few punches, security pulled them apart. The D’Angelo threw Waller in the back of his truck where security pulled them apart. Again.

So there that was.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
