— In an interview with RacinToday.com, Carl Edwards mentioned that John Cena had been after him for a while to get him to do something with WWE.

— Another title match has been added to the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on 2/1, as Drew McIntyre will defend the Intercontinental championship against Kane.

— Here are some SmackDown! ratings for the month of January:

* January 1 scored a 1.8 rating with 3.154 million viewers
* January 8 did a 2.2 rating, with 3.731 million viewers.
* January 15 did a 2.1 rating, with 3.624 million viewers.
* January 22 did a 2.1 rating 3.416 million viewers.
* January 29 did a 2.2 rating, with 3.463 million viewers.
