The Kong-Bubba Lawsuit, The 3/8 TNA iMPACT! Granted Overrun, More

— Courthouse News Service has confirmed that Awesome Kong is claiming that Bubba the Love Sponge called her at 5AM on February 10th from a blocked phone number and threatened her. They confirm that she also claims that he made many racist comments, and that he identified himself and said it was being broadcast on the radio. The call was apparently in response to Kong attacking Bubba back in January at a TNA event after he wrote a negative message about the issues in Haiti. Kong asked AT&T to give her the identity on the blocked call but so far, they have declined. She has now filed a lawsuit against both Bubba and AT&T as we noted earlier.

— The third episode of TNA Epics is set to air on Monday, March 8th after the first live iMPACT!. The episode will feature an X-Division theme. The Monday timeslot after Impact will be permanent, with replays on Thursdays at 9PM ET.

— Spike TV has granted TNA Wrestling an 8-minute overrun for the March 8th edition of iMPACT!, the first night of the new Monday night war. No word yet on whether this is a one night deal or if they’ll run over every week like WWE RAW does.
