Backstage, Abyss is showing off the ring Hulk Hogan gave him to several X-Division guys and Jeremy Borash. Abyss says that day turned into the greatest day of his life. Abyss laughs to end the segment.

A video highlighting what has been going over between Abyss, Eric Bischoff, Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan. Bischoff having several wrestlers beat down Abyss is shown, as well is Hogan saving Abyss’s mask.

Mike Tenay and Tazz go over what will be on tonight’s show.
– Abyss vs. Desmond Wolfe.
– TNA Global Champion Rob Terry vs. Mr. Anderson are mentioned

AJ Styles music hits and the TNA World Champion and Ric Flair make their way down to the ring. Tazz mentions that D’Angelo Dinero has partially torn ligaments in his ankle. Styles has the microphone and says that Dinero tried to turn his home into his own temple. Styles says that Dinero was telling people he is going to the be the champion of the people. Styles thinks that is cute that Pope wants to be the golden boy or the chosen one. Styles says Pope will not be beating him for the title. Styles reminds Pope that he is “the man”/ Styles repeats Flair’s line of “to be the man, you got to beat the man”. Flair is wooing random times throughout the promo. Styles thinks that Pope wont be walking for a long, long time. Flair begins to speak and says he has been driven crazy over the fact that Hulk Hogan gave his ring to Abyss. Flair says that Hogan has his own little Hall of Fame. Flair calls Abyss a “challenged person at best”. Flair says that Hogan was never and will never be a Ric Flair. Flair calls out “the Abyss”. Abyss makes his way out to Hulk Hogan’s music circa 1994. Flair wants to know why Abyss came out to that music. Flair doesn’t have the music to describe what just happened. Flair says he is a Hall of Famer. Flair wants to puke when looking at Abyss. Flair is freaking out over all of this. Flair tells Abyss he makes him sick. Flair says that Abyss will only be good at cleaning the champs boots. Flair calls Abyss a clown, several times. Abyss chimes in and says that Flair is right, and says that he wouldn’t be able to shine Styles shoes because he isn’t a shoe shine boy! Abyss would be happy to take Styles boots off and shove them up Flair’s ass! Flair says he is a god. Styles calls Abyss a pathetic piece of crap. Styles tells Abyss that the fans came to see him and not Abyss. Styles calls Abyss a disgrace. Styles puts down Abyss looks and puts over his own look. Styles calls Abyss a ugly disgrace. Styles wants Abyss to take the ring off and Flair wants Abyss to put it on Styles hand. Abyss points at Styles and that is when Hulk Hogan’s music hits. Hogan asks Styles what does he know about having a good name. Hogan accuses Styles of kissing Flair’s ass. Hogan believes that Styles running down Abyss makes him “weak”. Hogan says that the history book will be written that AJ Styles was the weakest champion and asks Styles if he wants that to happen. Flair says he came to TNA because Hogan makes everything gold. Flair refuses to have Hogan tell him what to do. Flair asks Hogan what he was thinking when giving Abyss his ring. Flair takes off his coat, and he is sweating a lot. Flair challenges Hogan “to do it right now”. Abyss takes off his shirt and Hogan gets ready to go. However, Flair and Styles back off and head to the backstage area. Flair says that Hogan and Abyss bought sometime tonight. Flair tells them that before the night is over, the ring will be on Styles finger.

Backstage, Mick Foley is shown arriving to the building. Tazz says that Foley is not happy about last week.

Mike Tenay and Tazz wonder if they will see the evil side of Foley tonight. They go over again what will be seen on the show.

Opening Contest: Team 3-D defeated the Nasty Boys in a no disqualification tables match: Jimmy Hart is with the Nasty Boys. All four men brawl on the entrance ramp before the bell. Ray sends Knobs into the ring steps. Sags is working on Devon in the ring. Sags with a running clothesline in the corner. Devon knocks Sags down with a clothesline of his own. Knobs and Ray go at it in the ring with Knobs delivering a back elbow knocking Ray down. Ray with a middle rope shoulder block. Ray with several right hands and a elbow smash. Ray with a scoop slam on Sags and Team 3-D connect with the What’s Up. Ray wants a table so Devon slides a table into the ring. Nasty Boys knock Team 3-D down to avoid the table. Ray flips the table over preventing Devon from getting driven through the table. Ray is slammed off he top rope. Jesse Neal comes down and throws Hart’s helmet in to Devon who hits Knobs and then hit the 3-D driving Sags through the table. *
After the match, Team 3-D celebrate the win.

Backstage, Mick Foley is in Eric Bischoff’s office. Foley says that it was all a set up for Bischoff to have Abyss all alone. Foley wants Bischoff to admit to it. Foley says that Bischoff’s actions make people paranoid. Bischoff wants to look at the end result and says that Abyss is happy, the happiest he has ever been. Bischoff is taking credit for Abyss’s credit. Bischoff wants to know why Foley is making it all about Foley. Foley says it isn’t and grants Bischoff the fact that Abyss is happy. Bischoff tells Foley that Abyss and JB are happy. Bischoff asks Foley where the suit is. Bischoff wants Foley to live up to his end of the bargain. Bischoff hopes that Foley will return wearing a suit, but Foley isn’t so sure.

Footage of Daffney viciously attacking Tara last week is shown.

Second Contest: ODB defeated Daffney via DQ:
ODB avoids a spear in the corner early on. ODB with a chop and sends Daffney into the corner. ODB sends Daffney into the top turnbuckle a few times. During the match, Christy Hemme interviews Tara. Tara admits that she may have not taken Daffney seriously. Tara puts over how crazy Daffney is. Tara says that Daffney got her attention. Tara says that she will be ready this time, and that Daffney hasn’t heard the last of her. Back to the match, Daffney has continued her attack working on ODB’s knees ramming them against the apron and ring post a few times. Daffney grabs a ring step and rams the steps into the knee of ODB several times. *
After the match, Daffney hits ODB with a broom. Dr. Stevie again grabs Daffney and drags her to the back.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Hernandez tells JB that they are cool. Morgan believes that JB is trying to stir up stuff. Morgan says it isn’t a big deal of what he did. He grabbed the opportunity which Hernandez says “literally”. Morgan says Hernandez would have done the same thing and it is ancient history. Morgan tells JB to drop it, and JB says he will. Morgan says they will defend the tag titles against anyone, anywhere at anytime. Morgan says they will be the best tag team ever, basically. Morgan finishes up saying that they will knock down who ever is lined up to face them.

Outside, Sean Waltman and Scott Hall are looking for weapons for their fight with Kevin Nash and Eric Young later tonight.

– Beer Money Inc are seen walking to the ring.

Beer Money Inc. are standing in the ring. Bobby Roode talks about forming their tag team some two years ago with James Storm. Roode says that they promised each other to be the best they can be each and every night. Roode and Storm have build a reputation of pride. All they wanted to be is the best, and says they are the greatest tag team in all of professional wrestling. Storm grabs a microphone and says they aren’t going to have a war of words with Bischoff and Hogan. Storm mentions that they have been here since day one, and they have had to carry this company and they have done just that. Storm says that they have made the company a lot of money as their merchandize has been outselling everyone. Storm says that management want to sit them on the sidelines and that isn’t going to fly with them because Roode needs to make money to buy Storm’s beer. Storm says that TNA is at its all time high and for TNA to get to that next level, they need more Beer Money Inc. Hernandez music hits and Hernandez has a microphone. Hernandez says that they don’t need to prove anything to anyone here. Hernandez puts over how good they really are. Hernandez says he and Morgan want to be the best. Hernandez says he is going to Hulk Hogan’s office and is going to get Beer Money Inc. a title shot at Destination X. Bobby Roode accepts the challenge and Hernandez says “may the best team win”.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Kevin Nash and Eric Young. Nash says that they aren’t looking for a ring or a referee. All they want is Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. They want to bust them up and crack some skulls. Young doesn’t want a match, but rather a piece of television time. Young says that their ratings will be the highest segment on the program. Young is going to send Hall and Waltman packing for good. Nash says that he can live with the physical pain, but the emotional pain is different.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett storms into Eric Bischoff’s office. Jarrett says that Bischoff sent six thugs to beat him up because he didn’t follow the rules. Jarrett has says he has been through much more than that. Jarrett isn’t going to walk away from his company and tells Bischoff that it is going to take a lot more to run him out. Bischoff apologizes to Jarrett for last week, but Jarrett doesn’t want to hear any of that. Bischoff says he is doing the best he can. Jarrett asks Bischoff if he wants him to feel sorry for him. Bischoff knows he is wrong about Jeff Jarrett. Bischoff puts over Jarrett standing up for himself and says the Jarrett did the right thing. Bischoff wants Jarrett to meet him in the ring, and wants to give Jarrett a better opportunity in front of his fans. Bischoff wants Jarrett to trust him on this one. Jarrett says he will be out there to talk to Bischoff.

Eric Bischoff’s music hits and Bischoff makes his way down to the ring with a microphone. Bischoff thanks the fans for their response. Bischoff says he loves the fans. Bischoff says that he is man enough to admit to his mistakes, and he has made a lot of them. Bischoff says you have to learn from your mistakes and you have to grow from them as well. Bischoff wants Jarrett to come out as he was wrong about him a swell. Jeff Jarrett’s music and Jarrett comes out to a good reaction. Jarrett enters the ring and Bischoff tells Jarrett the he knows its been a tough situation between each other. Bischoff can but all that behind him. Bischoff asks a producer to get something out of his office, and it is a barbed wire bat. Bischoff says that it was a disgusting thing to ask Jarrett to use that on one of his peer. Bischoff tells Jarrett that he did the right thing. However, the problem is that Jarrett didn’t do the right thing for him. Bischoff is going to give Jarrett one more chance to do the right thing. Bischoff gives Jarrett a spatula and tells him to flip some burgers for the fans here in the Impact Zone. Bischoff gives Jarrett a hair net and puts it over the hair of Jarrett to follow health codes. Bischoff says that Jarrett could always quit to make it easy for each other. Jarrett doesn’t respond and Bischoff says “happy flipping”. Bischoff taunts Jarrett before heading to the back.

Backstage, Matt Morgan asks Hernandez what that was about. Morgan is pissed that Hernandez went out their without him gave Beer Money Inc. a title shot. Morgan says that he said he would face any tag team because he thought it was going to sound cool, but stops himself. Morgan says that they need to be on the same page. Morgan agrees that Beer Money Inc will get a title shot and says they need to be on the same page. Morgan and Hernandez shake hands and appear to be on the same page… maybe.

Third Contest: Kazarian defeated Brian Kendrick to earn a TNA X-Division title match at Destination X: Kendrick works on the left arm of Kazarian with a kick and elbow. Kazarian reverses with a wrist lock and hammerlock on Kendrick. Kendrick with a wrist lock but Kazarian takes Kendrick down with a hip toss and scoop slam. Kazarian with a sling shot leg drop and a dropkick in the corner. Kazarian misses a running attack in the corner and is rolled up but kicks out. Kendrick with a neck breaker moments later but only gets a two count. Kendrick goes up top but is stopped with a leaping kick from Kazarian. Kazarian with a dropkick as well and Kendrick is loopy. Kazarian with the Flux Capacitor to pick up the win and earn a title shot. **¼

Backstage, Kevin Nash and Eric Young are taping up their fists for a fight with Hall and Waltman.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Abyss, Abyss tells anyone who wants this ring to bring it. Abyss says the power within the ring brings great responsibility. Abyss also says that the ring has given him power that he thought he would never have. Abyss says that he might just come and get them. Abyss says that he is not a lord, but instead a “monster of the rings”.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Mr. Anderson. Anderson gets his own microphone from the ceiling. Anderson asks who has been unstoppable since coming to TNA? Anderson talks about leaving Kurt Angle laying in his own pool of blood. Anderson says that tonight he gets his first taste of TNA gold. Anderson puts over Rob Terry’s strength as being as strong as “six gorillas”. Anderson actually says he beat six gorillas by DQ once. Anderson says he will be the TNA Global Champion, and repeats his name twice. The second time right in Hemme’s face.

Backstage, Kurt Angle is walking towards the ring.

Backstage, Brutus Magnus tells Rob Terry that he and Doug Williams carried him for just about a year. Magnus tells Terry that he will answer to him and points at him. Terry grabs his finger and tells Magnus to piss off.

Before the next match, Mr. Anderson again says he is going to be next TNA Global Championship. Anderson says he is suppose to feel bad for spitting on a medal that a mother of solider gave to Angle. Anderson has the medal, and doesn’t realize that Kurt Angle has popped up from behind with a steel chair. Anderson has a medal that was given to him from a widow of a fallen widow. Anderson tells the fans that they should be ashamed of themselves and is met with a chair shot to the back from Angle. Angle motions to Terry to grab Anderson. Terry carries Anderson back to the ring as Angle just smiles at the fallen Anderson,

Fourth Contest:
Rob Terry defeated Mr. Anderson to retain the TNA Global Championship: Terry slams Anderson back into the ring and Terry drives a limp Anderson down with a running power slam to win the match. DUD

In the kitchen, Jeff Jarrett is flipping burgers.

Backstage, Mick Foley has a trench coat on covering what may be his new suit.

A video going over the history of “the Band” is shown.

Outside, Kevin Nash and Eric Young are getting to fight. Eric Young goes after Sean Waltman, while Scott Hall hits Nash with a pipe on the knee. Hall punches and chops Young. Hall tells Young stay out of it. Waltman delivers a standing spin kick to knock Young out. Waltman tags Young with spray paint and mock Nash.

– Abyss is screaming over the power of the ring.

In the kitchen, Jeff Jarrett is cutting onions.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff is on the phone and says “no, we are not using celebrity hosts every week. That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard.” Mick Foley enters the room and shows off his new suit to Eric Bischoff who is impressed by the new look Mick Foley. Bischoff doesn’t like the tie that Foley is wearing, though. Bischoff has hired someone to make Foley look better. Foley says that he is going to meet Bischoff half way. Foley is going to check with someone and he will be going to etiquette school. Bischoff gets a good laugh.

Main Event: Abyss defeated Desmond Wolfe:
Abyss throws Wolfe into the corner but Wolfe comes back and drops Abyss to his knee and yanks on the neck of Abyss early on. Abyss with a back elbow but misses a splash in the corner. Wolfe with a clothesline to drop Abyss. Wolfe works on Abyss in the corner with a running uppercut. Wolfe goes for a suplex but is unable to take Abyss down. Abyss connects with a running big splash in the corner. Wolfe avoids a choke slam and slams Abyss down by the arm. Moments later, Wolfe comes off the ropes and is planted with the Black Hole Slam. Abyss covers and picks up the win.
After the match, Flair and Styles run down and try to attack Abyss but it doesn’t work. Wolfe has a chair and hits Abyss several times. Abyss is able to recover but Flair low blows Abyss and the numbers game catches up to Abyss. Wolfe has handcuffs and handcuffs Abyss to the top rope. Hulk Hogan comes down to the ring and the fans are going nuts. Hogan knocks all three men down with a series of right hands. However, Flair chop blocks the knee of Hogan and Styles mounts Hogan delivering right hands. Flair chops Hogan several times. Styles gets a few chops in as Flair delivers several right hands. Abyss tries to break free but is unable to. Styles hits Hogan with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Flair with several right hands and Hogan has been busted wide open. Abyss manages to break free from the cuffs, but it is too late. The heels bail from the ring as Abyss checks on Hogan.

Commercials

Back from break, Abyss helps a bloody Hogan up to his feet. We get a replay of what just happened. Hogan grabs a microphone and asks Flair if he wants to interfere in everyone’s matches? Flair says yes. Hogan books Flair in a match for March 8th and tells Flair that he is coming out of retirement. Hogan tells Styles and Flair they are tagging up to face Abyss and his tag team partner. Styles wants to know who Abyss’s partner will be. Hogan looks to the crowd who are chanting his name. A bloody Hogan smiles and tells them that they will be facing Abyss and his tag team partner…. Hulk Hogan!

Mike Tenay and Tazz are shocked over the announcement. Abyss and Hogan embrace in the ring and play to the crowd while Styles and Flair are livid at the top of the ramp.
