It was announced during the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view that Sean Waltman would not appear as advertised.
Taz said over commentary that Waltman did not show up at the 1:00 p.m. ET arrival time.
“Syxx-Pac no-showed, not here,” he said. “I guess it’s a case of Syxx-Pac being Syxx-Pac.”
Kevin Nash announced following his victory over Eric Young that he would replace Sean Waltman as Scott Hall’s tag team partner against Team 3D later in the show.
It should be noted that Waltman never arrived in St. Louis for the Lockdown event. We’re being told that he worked an independent date Saturday night in Wisconsin last night and according to one source, was telling those at the show he wasn’t going to the event. Reportedly, he refused to “job” due to the amount of money TNA is paying him.
TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that although he was advertised to appear at Saturday’s Lockdown Fan Interaction, Waltman also no-showed that event. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, however, appeared as advertised.
A Waltman release is likely forthcoming obviously. As of now, there is no heat on Scott Hall who arrived on-time and worked the event.
