— WWE was advertising Backlash as the April PPV on cable in the Detroit market. Of course, Extreme Rules is the April WWE PPV.
— WWE.com has excerpts from a Shawn Michaels interview with WWE Magazine, talking about his legacy, reconciling with Bret Hart and Miz and Morrison making use of Marty Jannetty as an example of a career gone wrong.
— Chris Jericho will be doing a signing on April 6 at the FYE store, 26 E. Randolph Street, Chicago , IL 60601 at 2PM. To get the autograph, you have to buy a copy of the Fozzy CD. The store opens at 8:30AM.
— The segment from last night’s SmackDown involving Jack Swagger backstage with Mickie James, Tony Atlas, Slam Master J and Shelton Benjamin was not the same as the one aired in the arena. In the arena version, Mickie, Tony Atlas and Slam Master J were talking about Cryme Tyme splitting up, and Swagger wanted them to talk about him instead. Then as he walked by Shelton Benjamin, he said “You still have a job here?” The segment went much longer than was aired.
— This is just a reminder that tonight is the huge Roy Jones Jr. vs. Bernard Hopkins boxing fight. This should be an excellent fight. Both of these guys have been talking a ton of shit (anyone surprised?!) and they legit don’t like each other.
