WWE Reportedly Considering New Creative Direction For Paul Heyman on WWE TV

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have a working creative idea that would involve Paul Heyman making his regular return to WWE television soon.

It was reported that this new creative direction plans would allow Heyman to branch out into another program while still maintaining some storyline connection to The Vision, specifically in regards to Bron Breakker.

Heyman most recently has been involved in Oba Femi’s feud with The Vision and had a promo segment with him on the October 12th episode of WWE RAW that featured Femi telling Heyman that he was not a “Paul Heyman Guy” but instead an “Oba Femi Guy.”

WWE Reportedly Expected To Show Interest In Dralistico If & When His Availability Status Becomes Clearer

As noted before, Dralistico has been absent from AEW and Ring of Honor since this past June and his contract with AEW is currently set to expire soon. Dralistico had recently posted a cryptic tweet that was AI generated and featured him locked up in a jail cell with the “Maybe not for long?” This was later revealed to not be Dralistico teasing a departure from AEW and instead him just waiting for his current visa issue to be resolved so that he can work again for AEW in the United States.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE is currently expected to show interest if and when Dralistico’s availability situation becomes clearer.

It was reported that the current belief is that Dralistico’s contract with AEW runs into this December.

WWE Reportedly Has No Plans
Reshape SmackDown Taping Schedule To Go Head-To-Head Live With AEW New Year’s Smash 2027

As noted before, AEW recently announced that next year’s AEW New Year’s Smash will be a two-night Dynamite and Collision special on January 1-2 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Dynamite edition is notable for being the first time ever that Dynamite would go head-to-head against WWE’s SmackDown.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently do not have any plans to reshape their taping schedule for SmackDown to go head-to-head live against AEW’s Dynamite New Year Smash 2027 show.

WWE officials currently have scheduled for that week’s SmackDown show to be a taped show and not a live show.
