Backstage News: TNA Really Wants Jim Ross, Ultimate Sacrifice

» TNA will bring back the Ultimate Sacrifice match at the Sacrifice pay-per-view later this month (May 16th). Four stars will participate in the match. As of last Monday’s iMPACT, the only names decided on were Rob Van Dam and AJ Styles. TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that more names are expected to be announced on this Monday’s live TNA iMPACT! broadcast at 8EST on SpikeTV.

» TNA sources indicate that the company is planning on offering Jim Ross a huge amount of money in the very near future. It’s said that Eric Bischoff wants Ross in TNA bad, more than he has any other name recently. The talk is that if something happened and Ross ended up coming to TNA, Mike Tenay would take another job with the company and Ross would join Taz on the two-man announce team. We’ll see what happens shortly as there were meetings several weeks ago between Jim Ross and Bob and Dixie Carter.
