— WWE is advertising a SmackDown! taping on August 18 in Fresno, CA. That’s a Wednesday night instead of the usual Tuesday.
— The May 22 Supershow at the US Bank Arena includes Cena & Orton vs. Sheamus & Batista, Jack Swagger vs. Kane and the Straight Edge Society vs. The Hart Dynasty for the tag belts.
— Bob Uecker’s heart surgery on Friday was said to be a “complete success.” The expected recovery time is two to threee months, and Uecker is expected to return to commentary for the Milwaukee Brewers at that point, working only home games until given the all-clear for travel.
— RAW’s rating was a 3.05, with 4.35 million viewers. The show did hours of 2.90 (4.10 million viewers) and 3.20 (4.60 million viewers). The rating is tied with the April 19 RAW for the worst rating since December 2008. Of note is that the show lost nearly a million viewers from last week to this week in the 9PM hour, opposite Impact. The second of three hours last week drew 4.99 million viewers, while this week’s first hour had 4.10 million.
