— WWE is said to be planning a “3D” experiment some time next year in conjunction with the Friday Night SmackDown! show when it debuts on SyFy. Smackdown debuts on the network this October.
— WWE COO Donna Goldsmith said Monday at the JP Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference that WWE has had talks with Nickelodeon about bringing an animated TV series to the network.
— Goldsmith also said she recently talked with Vince McMahon about how WWE has walked away from their older audience in recent years and talked about new ideas to get that audience back. Goldsmith said McMahon suggested a “Legends” show featuring WWE superstars from the 80s and 90s.
