Major RAW Creative Changes, Chimel-Punk Bet, Danielson-WWE Update

— Mike sent word that WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel announced CM Punk as hailing from the “Stanley Cup Champion and greatest hockey town in the world Chicago” at the SmackDown live event on Saturday night. Chimel was forced to do this after losing a bet on the Stanley Cup with Punk.

— For what it’s worth, Bryan Danielson has been described as having a great attitude backstage during his brief WWE run and was liked by most. Danielson changed his Twitter account from to Twitter.com/bryandanielson. He wrote on Saturday: “Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring.” On Sunday, he followed up with: “Biding my time, waiting for the right moment to speak.”

— On the RAW replay on Telemundo today, the part with Daniel Bryan choking Justin Roberts was shown.

— Creative was rewriting RAW yesterday. It wasn’t only the NXT angle that needed to be changed, several other storylines were being rewritten.
