Steamboat Returns, The Fortunate Sons-WWE Update, LayCool

» WWE developmental wrestler Richie Steamboat returned to singles action at Thursday night’s Florida Championship Wrestling live event in Tampa, Florida, pinning Donny Marlow. Last week, Steamboat teamed up with his father, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, his first match since tearing a ligament in his knee earlier in the year.

» There has been at least some talk of bringing in Brett DiBiase to the main WWE roster once he returns from injury this Fall for the planned Fortunate Sons stable with Ted DiBiase and NXT Rookie Michael McGillicutty (Joe Hennig). Of course this would all depend on what happens between now and then, which could be anything.

» WWE creative is currently happy with the Michelle McCool – Layla tag team. While some saw them as a “Beautiful People” knockoff at first, LayCool is seen as a hot act with a lot of potential.
