TMZ.com is reporting that Jacqueline Beems, Ric Flair’s wife, is off the hook for allegedly assaulting him at their home in February. The reason? He wouldn’t testify against her.
Officials in Charlotte said that the judge threw out the assault charge today because the D.A. did not have enough information to prosecute her. The report says that Flair did take the stand, but pled the 5th.
Brad Smith, attorney for Flair’s wife, said “We are just thrilled at the outcome and all parties are looking forward to moving on.”
It should be noted that the couple reconciled shortly after the incident and Flair has traveled with her to several sets of TNA iMPACT! tapings in Orlando, FL.
