— WWE has changed up the card for the August 31st show in Newark New Jersey. Randy Orton replaces John Cena to challenge Sheamus for the WWE Championship in a steel cage match. Cena will now team with Chris Jericho (who was set to face Orton on the show) to battle the Nexus in tag team action.
— WWE is running “tent shows” on August 27th, 28th and 29th in Hampton Beach NH, Cohasset, MA and Hyannis, MA. The main event match for those shows is Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship. Also scheduled for those shows is John Morrison vs. Ted Dibiase and Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy in a Submission Match.
