— QUICK NOTE FROM RYAN CLARK: Both WWE and TNA have been on quite a role lately with their storyline angles, especially TNA with the ECW storyline and pay-per-view plus the Beer Money Inc. vs. MCMG matches. RAW as well with SummerSlam hype and the Nexus angle. Ratings also seem to be increasing which is great for both companies. Our web traffic following the monthly PPVs and weekly TV events has been above normal as well. It’s been such a long time with shitty storyline angles so it’s always good to see things looking up! — As announced during RAW this week, actor Justin Long will serve as guest host on next week’s show. The official WWE website notes that Long’s Going the Distance co-stars, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis, will host RAW alongside him.

— WWE Monday Night RAW on November 1st, 2010 will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, New York. Tickets go on sale August 21st, 2010. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

— As noted earlier here on the website, a match for Thursday’s episode of WWE Superstars was taped before this week’s RAW broadcast. The match featured Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu vs. Jimmy and Jey Uso. An apparent dark match took place as well, between Vladimir Kozlov and Primo but that could appear on WWE Superstars as well. Partial WWE Superstars spoilers are posted on the main newsboard several posts below this one. The rest of the WWE Superstars matches will be taped tonight at the NXT and SmackDown! tapings. Expect one or two more SummerSlam matches to be announced tonight on SmackDown! as well.
