— As seen last night on SmackDown!, brand General Manager Theodore Long interrupted Vickie Guerrero and new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler’s plans for a celebratory vacation. Ziggler must first defend his title in a rematch against former champion Kofi Kingston at SummerSlam.
— Among those in attendance at last night’s WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Party in Hollywood, California was former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia. She noted on Twitter earlier this week that she would be attending the VIP event to make up for missing tomorrow night’s SummerSlam and Monday’s RAW due to previously scheduled arrangements in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Photos of Garcia walking the red carpet can be viewed at her official website, www.liliangarcia.com.
