— WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who knew Jorge “Giant” Gonzales from their WCW days and from WrestleMania IX had some words about his passing at the age of 44. Ross said he was a “kind soul who inadvertently backed into the wrestling biz. Giant Gonzalez was limited as to what he could do in the ring but was a true, ‘see him occasionally on a card,’ wrestling attraction. George will never be remembered as a great wrestler but he should be remembered as a nice, respectful man who knew his physical limitations but always tried to do his best in the ring.” Ross also wrote about stand-out matches, prospects, and talent in FCW from his trip to WWE’s developmental territory this past week.
