While Spike nor TNA Wrestling has acknowledged the reason for the preemption, it is said that network officials made the decision to not air iMPACT! this week because they felt it would be hammered in the ratings by the NFL season opener between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. TNA Wrestling will instead present the Bound For Glory Kickoff Show on the company’s official website, TNAWrestling.com.
