CM Punk Not Getting Surgery, Daniel Bryan-Jim Ross-WWE, Rock

— According to a source, CM Punk will not need surgery for a lower-body injury. He’ll instead go through with rehab. WWE creative has been told to keep him in their storyline plans so he’ll likely have an on-air role.

— Jim Ross posted the following in his latest blog: “My thanks to all that have emailed me regarding my return to WWE Goes Old School on Raw Monday night. I simply can’t answer every email that we have received, the volume was overwhelming, but please know that each and every one was read and appreciated. I will have another blog up asap discussing my Raw experience in more detail and some thoughts of returning to the announce table.”

— Daniel Bryan also tweeted about JR announcing his match on RAW this week: “Just watched Monday’s RAW. Jim Ross is still the absolute BEST. It was an honor and a thrill to hear him to do commentary on my match.”
