— Martin sent this one in: As a follow up to the earlier story, Eric Bischoff said that Jeff Hardy wasn’t an original choice to be part of ‘They’ a few weeks ago on the official TNA podcast. He said it was Vince Russo that came up with the idea at a meeting. When Russo pitched it, Bischoff said he had a smile on his face. He said it took convincing though, but it worked. He linked it to Hogan turning and that Hogan wasn’t the original choice in 1996 as well.
— As noted earlier, the November 15th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW will be a three-hour special and will feature an “Old School” theme. Several legends have already been confirmed for the show. They include the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Roddy Piper, The Iron Sheik, Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Snuka and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. More names will be announced in the coming weeks and we’ll be posting them here.
