Striker’s Huge Mistake, Mysterio Featured, Phoenix Nervous

— As noted earlier here on the website, there was much talk amongst those in WWE regarding Matt Striker blowing a call during the Survivor Series pay-per-view broadcast when Randy Orton pinned Wade Barrett because he acted as if it was a good thing that the “The Viper” had won the match because Cena would be freed from The Nexus. However, that would only have happened if Barrett had won the bout, allowing Cena to be freed from the faction while also retaining employment with WWE.

— Beth Phoenix returns to SmackDown! on this week’s show. “I’m nervous and excited for SmackDown,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’ve got revenge on my mind and unfinished business to take care of.”
