— As noted earlier, Samoa Joe’s TNA contract has expired and he is working without a contract. Joe has been negotiating a new deal with the company and will still work the Pay-Per-View and iMPACT! tapings this week. The hope is that the two sides can agree to a new deal.

— Tara has an interview with Fanhouse.com where she talks about the renewed focus on the Knockouts Division, her feud with Mickie James and more.

— Stephanie McMahon is still out on maternity leave after giving birth to her third child in August. WWE Champion The Miz noted in an interview last week with Bill Simmons for WWE.com that he had not seen her backstage at television tapings in a while.

— Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez donned a mask at Thursday night’s Florida Championship Wrestling live event in Tampa. He worked under the name Chimaera, a masked identity he has used in the independent scene since 2006.
