— Word is that last night’s Auburn vs. Oregon BCS Championship game scored a 16.1 rating on the major market metered ratings. The official number will be out later today, but when it comes out it is expected to be the most watched show in the history of cable television. The game did a 67.0 rating in Birmingham and a 37.5 rating in Portland. The previous record was on October 5th, 2009 when Green Bay faced Minnesota on Monday Night Football. That show did a 15.3 rating with 21.84 million viewers.
