Current plans call for Jim Ross to remain on WWE programming throughout the duration of Michael Cole’s ongoing storyline. His segments have performed strong quarter-hour numbers, which could factor into the company’s decision to keep him on television.
Also note, there are no plans for Ross to permanently return to announcing. Of course, things could change but as of now it won’t be happening.
