— The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Eric Bischoff is now in a legal battle over the naming rights for his Buffalo Bill Cody Beer. He is fighting Mike Darby, who owns a local Wyoming hotel and has been selling Buffalo Bill beer at Buffalo Bill’s Bar for years.
— Christy Hemme and Traci Brooks canceled their scheduled appearance at today’s “A Hot Summers Night” event in Essington, Pennsylvania due to flight cancellations as a result of Hurricane Irene.
Speaking of Hurricane Irene, please be safe if you’re on the east coast. I know we’re supposed to get 6-10 inches of rain and 50-70MPH winds here in Albany, NY. We are hoping the power stays up here in the office but that’s obviously out of our control. I’ve got a backup plan in place where we’ll still be able to get you any breaking news in the event we lose power. More as the storm gets closer. Thanks for your continued support!
