Game Changer Wrestling promoter Brett Lauderdale revealed earlier today on Twitter that the original plans for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X event in 2024 was for a match between Chad Gable and Jonathan Gresham to take place as part of the card.
Lauderdale stated that they had a graphic ready for the official announcement but the plan was dropped due to WWE had changed course at the last minute due to Gable wanted to focus on WrestleMania 40 instead.

But alas wwe changed course at the last minute because chad wanted to focus on wrestlemania (which i understand)

Gable did not end up competing at WrestleMania 40 nor the previous night’s WWE SmackDown show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the end.
