— While it was rumored that the 1,000th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW​ would be held in Madison Square Garden, that will not be happening. The Garden will be undergoing their second round of renovations during that time period.

— As we noted earlier here on the website, WWE is currently looking to launch The Network next year in time for WrestleMania 28. There are numerous people within WWE who are “shocked” that the debut is coming that soon. WWE also has plans to get very aggressive with mainstream marketing campaigns once it launches.

— Matches for today’s WWE Superstars include Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella, Justin Gabriel vs. Tyson Kidd plus WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne vs. Drew McIntyre and Michael McGillicutty.

— The Rock, who is playing Roadblock, tweeted today that they are filming the finale scene for GI Joe 2.
