Former WWE, TNA and NJPW star Travis Tomko posted bail yesterday and was finally released from jail. Once he was released, he immediately left for a drug rehab program sponsored by WWE. Tomko was arrested back on October 10th for allegedly stealing oxycodone from a local pharmacy. Later that night, he was found in a restaurant bathroom having melted down and injected the drug. Tomko’s attorney James McCune had the following to say on the matter…
“He’s very grateful for all the support he’s received from his friends, family and fans around the world. Mr. Tomko realizes he is struggling with an addiction and with the support of his family and the WWE, he is voluntarily checking himself into an undisclosed treatment facility to receive the help he needs for a successful recovery.”
