WWE is going with another wedding storyline. After he defeated Titus O’Neil on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Derrick Bateman proposed to his on-screen girlfriend WWE Diva Maxine.
Bateman dropped to one knee and proposed to Maxine, but got slapped in return. Maxine and Bateman then made out before she said yes to his wedding proposal.
The last wedding on WWE’s NXT was between Goldust and then-Rookie Aksana. Before the wedding could end, Aksana ended up slapping Goldust and walking off, turning heel. The storyline continued over the next few weeks but once she was eliminated from the competition, the storyline ended.
