New SmackDown! Set Debuts, Del Rio Storyline Plans?

— When Vince McMahon told Alberto Del Rio to work stiffer and appear more aggressive in the ring, it was indicated that he was due for another WWE Championship reign in 2012.

Del Rio is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks after suffering a torn groin during the Six-Man Tag Team Match on the December 19, 2011 RAW SuperShow.

— The new WWE live event stage setup is being used at RAW and SmackDown shows. If you’re interested, you can click here to view the new SmackDown! set. Keep in mind that this is a HUGE upgrade as WWE used to run live events with nothing at all – just an arena and ring. This is also NOT the sets that will be used for TV tapings.
