The Rock’s Next Movie?, Konnan Turns 48, Y2J’s Theme

— The Rock is in talks to star in a new movie called Empire State. The movie is based on a real event in 1982 where $11 million was stolen from an armored car in New York. Filming is set to begin in April, right after The Rock’s WrestleMania 28 match with John Cena.

— Former WCW star Konnan turns 48 years old today while former WWE Women’s Champion Jacqueline also turns 48.

— The Miz vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title, Kane vs. John Cena and Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler is being advertised for WWE’s return to Los Angeles in late February. Matches advertised for WWE’s debut in Eugene, Oregon on February 26th include CM Punk vs. Kane, The Miz vs. R-Truth and Zack Ryder vs. the winner of a 10-man battle royal.

— WWE has added Chris Jericho’s “Break The Walls Down” theme to iTunes.
