Major UFC Fighter At RAW + GM Announcement News

— Jim Ross noted that Portland, Oregon native Chael Sonnen was at Raw Monday night. Ross tweeted: One of my fav MMA fighters, Chael Sonnen, is at RAW tonight. He’s having a great time…just texted me.

— As noted earlier, WWE’s website has announced that the Board of Directors’ “official statement on the futures of SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long and Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis will be released exclusively on WWE.com tomorrow.” The two have been fighting for control of both Raw and SmackDown in the last few weeks. The WWE.com announcement tomorrow is to further the planned Team Laurinaitis vs. Team Long match at WrestleMania 28. The rumored captains are Santino Marella and David Otunga. There are rumors that this will replace the Money in the Bank match but that is not confirmed just yet.
