WWE announced today that they have hired Brian Flinn as Senior Vice President, Marketing. Flinn previously worked as a senior executive at the National Basketball Association, and will report to WWE Chief Marketing Officer Michelle D. Wilson. His role will be to provide strategic direction for WWE’s branding and promotions, database marketing, pay-per-view events, affiliate marketing and consumer insights.
As mentioned, Flinn previously worked for the NBA, where he oversaw the league’s marketing, internal communications and research groups. Over the years, he was involved in some of the NBA’s most recognizable initiatives, including the development of the award-winning “Where amazing happens” campaign.
