— MTV has announced a new focus on Monday night programming with a new lineup. The show will air Rob Dyrdek’s hit show Ridiculousness at 10 PM EST and a new hidden camera show similar to Punk’d titled Money From Strangers at 10:30 PM EST starting April 30th. The shows are targeting the same demographic as RAW, which already faces some difficult second-hour competition from History Channel’s programming targeting the same demo.

— During his previously reported appearance on FOX’s Washington, D.C. affiliate today promoting RAW, CM Punk continued playing up a feud with Steve Austin. Punk noted that Austin would be his dream opponent after first mentioning William Regal and Daniel Bryan, but said he didn’t think Austin is in a position to call him out these days. “He’s hunting and retired and enjoying his life and doing straight-to-DVD movies,” Punk said.
He also talked about carrying the torch for old-school styles, mentioning Roddy Piper, Bret Hart and Randy Savage as inspirations. When he was asked if he prefers physical contact or verbal trash-talking, he said he’s “always been a microphone guy” like Piper.
