— As noted earlier, there is talk in both WWE and TNA that Ric Flair will be back with the WWE some time next year. Flair’s current TNA contract expires at the end of the year and WWE wants to use Flair’s star power to help push the WWE Network when it launches. Flair is popular with fans and WWE owns most of the footage from his career. Flair had an interview with a Charlotte radio station earlier this week and claimed his last wrestling match was the retirement match against Shawn Michaels. He spoke highly of Vince McMahon and The Rock and said he had a great time hanging out with the WWE crew during Wrestlemania weekend.
— WWE is pushing big for next year’s event, with its sights on a Lesnar vs. Rock match. The goal is to sell out WrestleMania 29 on day one of ticket sales, which has not been done since 2007.
