WWE Reportedly Planning To Celebrate 30th Anniversary Of The Rock

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently are planning to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dwayne Johnson’s “The Rock” character this month.

It was reported that these plans include a commemorative championship belt, special merchandise releases, and social media campaigns honoring the anniversary of Johnson’s “The Rock” character debut at 1996 Survivor Series.

WWE Royal Rumble 2027 Event Reportedly Was Discussed For February 20th Date

As noted before, WWE announced earlier this month that next year’s Royal Rumble 2027 event will be taking place on February 6, 2027 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials had discussions about the possibility of holding next year’s event two weeks later on February 20 instead.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that the idea was to get exposure during Super Bowl weekend, which will be broadcasted on ESPN for the first time in 2027.

It was reported that the thinking internally was that throughout the week on the lead-up to the game, as well as during the game-day coverage itself on ESPN.

Enzo Amore & Joe Alonzo Reportedly Were Backstage At Nov. 4th WWE NXT Show

As noted before, Enzo Amore, also known as Real1 and nZo in the indies, is currently believed to have recently signed a new contract with WWE to return to the company for their NXT brand.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Amore and TNA talent Joe Alonzo were both at WWE’s Performance Center on Tuesday visiting for that night’s NXT show.

It was reported that AEW sources spoken to earlier this year stated that Amore had tested the waters there as well.
