As reported earlier, Brock Lesnar was in attendance at UFC 146. At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White stated that Lesnar, who retired after a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem in December, may make a comeback to mixed martial arts. We know that Dana and Brock had a face-to-face meeting late last night in Las Vegas.
After retiring from MMA in December, Lesnar made his return to WWE on April 2. On WWE television, they are currently running a storyline involving Lesnar quitting the popular pro wrestling organization. According to a source, White is not opposed to Brock returning to the UFC while still performing in WWE. No word on how Vince McMahon feels about that but he has allowed talents and announcers to mention UFC in recent weeks. Previously, any mention of “UFC” was banned on WWE television.
In eight mixed martial arts fights, Lesnar compiled a 5-3 record, winning the UFC heavyweight championship in his fourth fight and defending it twice. He lost his last two fights before announcing his retirement.
