Vince Trends, DiBiase Injury Update, Andy Leavine’s Firing

— WWE was not planning on announcing The Miz starring in The Marine 3 for several weeks but when news broke online yesterday, they decided to come out with the press release. Before they decided on The Miz, CM Punk was the lead candidate to star in the movie as we noted earlier. Vince McMahon nixed the idea because Punk is too valuable to be taken off the road. As noted before, filming begins on June 11th in Vancouver. It will run for 20 days. They are still looking for an actor to star in the lead villain role.

— Ted DiBiase wrote on Twitter that rehab for his ankle injury is going slower than he thought but he is making progress. DiBiase says he will return to WWE TV better than ever. While taking time off for the injury, he has been working on the DiBiase Foundation. Ted and his wife are expecting a baby in just a few weeks.
