Even though The Miz is set to star in The Marine 3, he wasn’t the company’s first choice. CM Punk was going to star in the film but Vince McMahon wouldn’t allow it.
McMahon feels that Punk is too valuable to take off the road to film a movie. Shooting begins June 11th in Vancouver and will take 20 days.
Randy Orton was originally going to star in the film but due to complaints from the real life Marines, he was pulled.
