— Jarrett Bellini, a technology blogger for CNN.com, has published an article regarding Doink the Clown’s appearance on last week’s RAW as we noted earlier. Bellini examines trending Twitter topics, which led to his article on the face painted grappler. He discusses the wrestler’s background and his role years ago in the World Wrestling Federation when no-name wrestlers infiltrated the weekly television shows.
“Apparently, there’s an actual term for these no-name wrestlers. They’re called “jobbers.” Their job is to lose the match. Barry Horowitz, it turns out, made a nice career out of getting his brains beat in. Though I’m sure Mr. and Mrs. Horowitz were never pleased with their son’s life choice,” Bellani writes.
