Eve Torres was named “Woman of the Month” by Made Magazine. She got a feature article examining her path to WWE and other projects such as her charity work with WWE, Make a Wish and Tribute to the Troops, plus teaching MMA to women. Eve teaches the classes at the Gracie Academy, being a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The article notes that she was also asked by the Gracies to appear in the “Women Empowered” self-defense videos. She noted that teaching young girls self-defense is one of the biggest accomplishments in her career. The article also quotes her as saying, “I stopped drinking three years ago and have had to turn down sponsorships because they don’t fit my brand.”
