— JBL tweeted the following after the segment with Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus on Tuesday’s live SmackDown: “Hey @wwe Next Alberto del Rio will be sitting backstage with Ron playing cards and drinking beer! #felony #theft #paymeroyalties”
— As noted before, seven Superstars have qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a shot at the World Heavyweight Title – Christian, Santino Marella, Tyson Kidd, Tensai, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. The updated preview on WWE’s website indicates that the match is finalized with those seven Superstars.
It was originally revealed that nine Superstars would be competing in the match so it’s still possible that two qualifying matches will take place on next week’s SmackDown. Speculation is that next week’s General Manager Zack Ryder will add himself to the match.
— As seen on SmackDown Tuesday night, Ryback picked up a win over Curt Hawkins. It sounds like Hawkins and his partner Tyler Reks aren’t finished with Ryback after they commented on Twitter last night.
Hawkins: “Well that meathead @Ryback22 clearly cheated tonight… Good news is I have an in with the SmackDown GM next week, we go way back.”
Reks: “Think @TheCurtHawkins would be mad if he knew the coin we tossed for the match was rigged? No worries, we’re not done with @Ryback22 yet.”
